Selection Process

The Recruitment for the year 2025 involves a structured selection procedure comprising the following phases:

• Written Test (CBT mode)
• Physical Standard Test
• Document Verification

Eligibility Criteria

As per the details mentioned in the UP Police Radio Operator Recruitment 2025, a candidate has to be a graduate to apply for the post. The Graduation certificate of the candidate should be from a recognized university.

Age
As per the rules and regulations (as amended) for the advertised posts, it is mandatory that:
The candidate must have completed 18 years of age as on 01-07-2025 and must not have completed 22 years of age, i.e., the candidate's date of birth should not be before 01-07-2003 and not after 01-07-2007.
However, in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other such categories, the upper age limit will be relaxed by the number of years specified in the Act and applicable government orders at the time of notification of vacancies.

Syllabus & Exam Pattern

Following is the UP Police assistant operator exam pattern:

• The exam will be conducted in online mode or CBT mode.
• There will be following four subjects in the UP Police assistant operator exam:

• General Hindi,
• Science/General Knowledge,
• Numerical and Mental Ability and
• Mental Aptitude Test/IQ Test/Reasoning Test

• There will be a total 160 questions in the UP Police assistant operator exam.
• There will be one mark given for each correct answer.
• There will be NO negative marking.
• Each section will be carrying questions of 100 marks.
• The question paper will be available in both the languages i.e English and Hindi.
• The duration of the exam will be 150 mins.
